Argentine football club San Lorenzo has announced it will name its new stadium after Pope Francis. The pontiff has supported the Buenos Aires-based team since he was a boy. San Lorenzo, one of the oldest teams in the Argentine Football Association, is planning to build a new stadium in Boedo, a working-class neighbourhood in the Argentine capital.

In the Netherlands, these projects are evidence of a clear commitment to both adaptation and advance planning.
Latin America's Tallest Film Industry Building to be built in Argentina
Tuesday September 9th Argentine president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner announced on her Facebook page the winning project for the Buenos Airesí Audiovisual Pole, a titanic urban plan to accommodate the local film industry in one single area.
Colombia's government has set out plans to quadruple the number of mobile internet connections in the next four years, while fixed-line internet connections will increase twofold. The country's national ICT strategy 2014-18 aims to triple total internet connections from around 8.8mn currently to 27mn in 2018.

Supermarket Industry in Brazil positive
As a sector that has constantly grown in the past decade, the supermarket industry is drawing lots of attention from investors and entrepreneurs. In 2013, the Brazilian supermarket industry reached its 10th consecutive year of growing revenue, having a turnover of BRL 272,2 billion, an increase of 5,5% compared to 2012. This steady growth is due mainly to four economic reasons.
Latin American economies changing position on ranking list
The year 2014 showed some changes of position on the Latin American economies ranking list. Strong as ever, Brazil and Mexico will remain at number 1 and 2. Earlier this year Colombia took over Argentina as Latin Americaís 3rd largest economy, which puts Argentine at number 4. Number 5 is is Venezuela, but it is at risk to have to hand over its position to stable, growing and highly privatized Chile.
Latin America Expected to Be Highest Growing Mobile Games Market by 2017
The gaming industry is booming, with worldwide revenues of over US$ 57 billion expected for 2014. According to Applift & Newzoo, mobile games will generate 27% of the total games market, with Latin America expected to be the highest growing mobile games market with 50% CAGR by 2017.
