Information session on international technological cooperation at Acció

On February 5, Transfer attended to the information session "International technological cooperation programmes in 2015", in which various financing instruments for innovative SMEs were presented, as well as multilateral and bilateral programmes available in the field of research, development and innovation.

The meeting was organized and conducted by Acció, the agency for enterprise competitiveness of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and also counted on the valuable participation of representatives from the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), who presented the new lines of financing for SMEs in the field of R+D and internationalization as well as multilateral programmes whose funds they manage at national level, such as Eureka or Iberoeka. They also presented bilateral programs managed by the CDTI with countries like China, Japan and India.

Acció informed about their advisory services to innovative SMEs trying to internationalize and identify new markets, with particular emphasis on the so-called technological antennas, that is to say offices that the Generalitat de Catalunya has distributed over different countries in the world to facilitate collaboration between Catalan and local companies in R&D. A success story of a Catalan company that had received such advice from Accio was also presented.

Finally, Acció also presented transnational calls for proposal they manage, such as MANUNET program - designed to promote R& D in the manufacturing industry, understood with a transversal approach - as well as tax incentives for technology transfer.
