New competitivity poles France
01.08.2007![]() |
Two years after the nomination of a first series of competition clusters, the French Government added 5 new clusters to the 66 already in function; the government put an end to the certification of clusters that may start again in 2009.
Among those selected, only the cluster "Financial industry" has been recognized as a world cluster in order to reinforce the attractiveness of the Paris stock market in a European context. The CIACT (Interministerial Committee for the Planning and Competitiveness of the City) has also selected "Agrimip Innovation" in the agribusiness field, and "Elastopôle" in the rubber industry. The two final ones are related to aeronautics: "Astech" in Ile-de-France and "Pégase" in the PACA region, both of them are linked to the world cluster Aerospace Valley.
